Theatre in Video Trial

This trial is available to the 31st of May.

Theatre in Video will contain more than 200 of the world’s plays, together with more than 50 video documentaries, online in streaming video - more than 400 hours in all.

This release (2008-05) includes 101 theatre performances and 61 documentaries for a total of 162 titles. The collection features performances by Anthony Hopkins, Patrick Stewart, Meryl Streep, James Earl Jones, Robert Redford, Dame Helen Mirren, Sir John Gielgud, and many others.

Works by writers such as Athol Fugard, Henrik Ibsen, GÃnther Grass, Samuel Beckett, Sarah Orne Jewett, and Langston Hughes appear in this release. The release also includes the BBC’s productions of every play in the Shakespeare catalogue.
